The thickest cardboard boxes will protect your belongings very well, even against direct impact, whereas the thinnest cardboard boxes won’t provide much protection and you’ll need additional protection to move your belongings, such as polystyrene, bubble wrap or newspaper. The cardboard boxes for large-size shipments dedicated to carrying goods on pallets are characterised by the thickest wall. It makes perfect sense to choose them as they best for the heaviest loads, minimising the risk of something falling out of the cardboard box and being damaged during the handling of the goods.
