WHAT IS THE INSIDE OF CARDBOARD BOXES FILLED WITH?

The retail and wholesale market in Poland is growing rapidly. As a result, more and more goods are circulating. These are usually packed in universal cardboard boxes, which are the most convenient to use and provide good protection for the goods. However, it should be noted that cardboard boxes must be filled skilfully so that the goods are adequately protected against damage.

WHY DO CARDBOARD BOXES NEED TO BE FILLED?

The consumer market has become accustomed to the ubiquitous cardboard boxes. They are versatile packaging with which goods, even large goods, can be stored and transported. However, it is important to ensure that the interiors of cardboard boxes are carefully filled. Otherwise, the goods inside may suffer mechanical damage during storage or transport.

HOW EASY IS IT TO SECURE GOODS IN A CARDBOARD BOX?

It is very common practice to fill cardboard boxes with cardboard or paper. In improvised conditions, newspapers can be used for this, with which the cardboard should be tightly filled to immobilise the goods. In a commercial setting, however, it is advisable to obtain professionally dedicated paper as a cardboard filler instead of newspapers.

A much more effective method of protecting goods from damage is bubble wrap. It is widely used and is often used to wrap goods packed in cardboard boxes so that there is as little space as possible in the box. Wrapping the goods in foil can be used regardless of whether additional protection is applied. Dedicated air cushions that work in a similar way are also available on the market. These are air-filled balloons that are inserted into the cardboard.
