More and more people are shopping online and want their purchased items to arrive intact. However, it is worth knowing that the huge growth of the online shopping industry has meant that the package should not only be securely packaged, but also aesthetically pleasing and personalised so that the customer has positive associations with the shop online. In this way, a one-time purchase can turn into recurring orders, which is what almost every shop strives for. In the midst of competition, it is worth making your shop stand out, both for its low price, its social media presence, its friendliness and, of course, its packaging. How do you do this? We have a few suggestions for you.
WHAT TO CONSIDER WHEN PACKING?
Before you start packing your parcel, it is worth considering a few things. First you need to think about the distance your parcel, then if it contains any fragile elements inside. If you send a parcel abroad, be sure to check the transport regulations. Maybe some goods are excluded from transport? Make sure you are aware of limitations.
There are three main types of parcels when it comes to their size. The smallest size of package is the courier envelope, which we use for sending documents. The next category is a standard courier parcel and then a courier pallet, used to transport items over 30kg.
HOW TO PACK A PARCEL?
Courier envelopes, stretch film or small boxes work well with small items. It becomes more complex with larger items. For them it is worth using good quality cardboard boxes for shipping. The best solution is to fill empty spaces with bubble wrap so that the goods do not move. The whole thing should be carefully wrapped with solid adhesive tape. There is no point saving on protection and bubble foil inside the parcel, especially if you send liquid products or cosmetics.
